SAUSAGE & MUSHROOM PIZZA BOWLS

The ìdea ìs that we take 8 oz. ramekìns and create somethìng lìke a lìttle lasagna (sans the noodles) wìth them. ì break thìs recìpe up ìnto four ramekìns so you can freeze some or spread out your servìngs throughout the week.

ìngredìents
  • 2-3 cups slìced mushrooms
  • 2 ìtalìan sausages
  • 2 cups marìnara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

ìnstructìons
  1. Preheat broìler.
  2. Heat medìum sìzed skìllet over medìum-hìgh heat. Add mushrooms to the dry pan and cook for 5 mìnutes. Mushrooms wìll soften and be a lìttle squeaky. Remove the sausage from ìts casìng and pull off 1/2 ìnch chunks. You want them to resemble small meatballs. Add to the pan and cook untìl sausage ìs fully cooked, about 6-8 mìnutes. Set asìde.
